I'm fundraising for KYDS Youth Counselling, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter & Mentoring Men

Hey there! This is my first 5k fun run and I'm so excited to be participating in it.

While I am busy training, I am asking you to help me reach my fundraising goal of $250.

The funds will go towards 3 local charities:

  • KYDS Youth Counselling – kyds.org.au
  • Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter (hkws.org.au)
  • Mentoring Men (mentoringmen.org.au)

While their work is different, what unites these organisations is a shared commitment to being there when people are most vulnerable; offering safety, care and connection so no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Helps fund the ongoing professional development counsellors need to ensure young people get the best support possible. Over 60% of KYDS clients have experienced Family Violence. So, it's important that KYDS Youth Counselling counsellors have the skills needed to ensure that all those in the family system are connected with the support they need.

Enables KYDS counsellors to take the time need to collaborate with other service providers and schools, to help ensure young people receive the holistic wrap-around support they need.
